These are only two of a countless number of resources available to musicians on the internet. These two have proven to be very useful to me.
ArtistData: ArtistData is a unique service that allows musicians to "push" news, blogs, status updates, and show listings from the ArtistData Dashboard to all of the major social and music networking sites. If you are a musician who is spending tons of time reposting the same information to all of your websites, you know how awesome this is. They have recently teamed with SonicBids.
Google Apps: This one may seem a bit strange to some of you, but think about it. Google offers free web applications that allow you to access important information (calendars, files, email, etc,) from any internet enabled computer on the planet. Be creative with these services and use them to your advantage. Say for instance that your band has purchased a domain through Google. Set up email accounts with that domain for everyone that needs to be involved. This could included merch crew, managers, agents, etc. This way you can all share important information anywhere you go. You won't have to worry about having a wasted rehearsal because the vocalist forgot their lyric sheet. You put the lyrics on Google docs and you can print them off on your computer. Make sure everyone has the performance schedule for the next two months by syncing your calendars. The uses are endless!
What are your favorite web tools/stratigies?
